Zip Industrial Products Corporation was founded in 1967 as an affiliate company of Pivot Punch Corporation.
Robert H. King Sr., the founder, developed Zip to market products produced by Pivot Punch in the Western New York area.
Zip Industrial expanded its base of products from punches and dies manufactured by Pivot Punch to include all materials
needed to supply the Tool and Die Industry. Zip Industrial of Ohio was added to the Corporation in 1971 to bring these
services to Northern Ohio.
Currently the Corporation, now headed by Robert H. King Jr. as CEO, Christopher King as President
and Paul Lampkin as Vice President has expanded
to become a cutting tools, abrasive and tool and die specialist with a full range products to support these industries.
Zip Industrial has full capabilities to handle design and specific product recommendations to satisfy the requirements
of the industries it services.
Zip is currently capable of handling integrated supply requirements of tool rooms, internet transactions,
EDI transactions, and in conjunction with suppliers provide technical services through the internet. Zip
Industrial is ISO 9002 compliant and will be ISO registered by the end of 2001.
